These terms and conditions reflect our accountability to you (the customer) and your intention to honour the terms laid out below.

We are an ethical and responsible business that has served 100’s of 1000’s of happy customers over the years. Please note that we will never share your private data, our site is secure and your consumer rights are protected. www.domesticappliancepartsandspares.co.uk is the web trading name for Merseyside Domestic Appliances Ltd. These Terms & Conditions govern your use of our website and orders placed with us over the telephone and services offered herein. By placing an order with us, you accept, and agree to, these Terms & Conditions. We reserve the right to change the Terms & Conditions at any time and it is your responsibility to check before ordering your part. This does not affect your statutory rights.
Agreement of Contract When you place an order via our website (www.domesticappliancepartsandspares.co.uk) we will treat this as an action to purchase.
Product Accuracy and Suitability Though we make huge efforts to publish correct information regarding details of the products listed on our site, this information is received direct from the Manufacturers, and is accurate at the time. We shall not be held responsible for the accuracy of any advice given regarding the suitability (or otherwise) of any part/s or spares required for an appliance. If you have ordered an item that has an incorrect product description we will provide you with a full refund upon the return of the item to ourselves. If any of our Products are listed as a genuine part, these are supplied by the manufacturer. In the same manner, generic parts are supplied as compatible with the manufacturer's model and details. We encourage you to ensure that all parts ordered through us are fitted by a suitably qualified person in accordance with manufacturer specifications. We will not be held liable for any damage caused by the fitting of a spare part in an incorrect manner. For this purpose, it is highly recommended that you have read your warranty conditions before attempting to fit or replace a part or repair your domestic appliance. Under no circumstances are we to be held responsible if the appliance is damaged or your warranty is voided. Please note that some manufacturer guarantees are only effective upon condition that you use one of their own qualified technicians. Please check again with your manufacturer’s instruction manual, or in the absence of such literature, contact them directly. Delivery and Availability As an ethical and responsible business in a highly competitive Industry, we make huge efforts to ensure that all our customers are very happy with our service. If, however there is a delay in the receipt of your item or stock available, we will inform you of this via telephone or email and the product will be despatched as soon as it is available. Please note that If you have ordered multiple items they may arrive separately. If you do not wish the arrival of your parts separately, please notify us by email or contact us by telephone so that we may make the necessary notes on your order. For this reason, it is essential that such information is passed to us either before or at the point of sale. If there is any delay in this information being passed to us, it may not be possible to change the arrival of your parts, as your order may have already been processed (identified, packaged and posted). For reasons above and the fact that all deliveries are carried out by a third party (Royal Mail, Courier etc) www.domesticappliancepartsandspares.co.uk has no liability to you for any delay in the delivery of products ordered. We always do our very best to get all orders out as quickly as possible. You have the right to cancel any delayed orders at any time and get a full refund by contacting us either by telephone or email. Please note: occasionally we find ourselves having to withdraw an item because it has become obsolete or has been discontinued. If you have placed an order for an item that has been made obsolete we will inform you as soon as possible and offer you an alternative if one is available. Such an inconvenience to you is a very rare occurrence indeed, as our system is updated on a daily basis to reflect the above. Please note that we only deliver to the If you haven't received your item/s within 7 working days of the date of despatch, please notify us as soon as possible, and if necessary, we will arrange a replacement order.
Payment Facility Payment over the Internet can be made via our secure check out pages. This payment is taken by the Royal Bank of Alternatively you may pay by cheque or postal order. However, should you choose to pay by either of these methods your order will not be despatched until the funds have been cleared. All prices are quoted on our website in pounds sterling (£) and include Value Added Tax (VAT) at As with all secure clearing systems through the banking Industry, your credit card payment will be taken at the point of ordering. If a problem should occur in our ability to fulfil your order and you would like to cancel your order we will be happy to provide you with an apology and a refund. Please do so by telephone or email.
Cancellation of your Order If you wish to cancel your order or amend any part of it, please do this as soon as possible by calling us on the telephone or notifying us via email. This can be easily done if the item/s have not been dispatched. If the item has already been despatched then please see below for our returns policy.
Return of your item/items You have the right to cancel your order within 14 days of the date of delivery. Please notify us by email of your intention to return your item(s) within this time. Please note the following:
If you are unsure about the part you are ordering, please telephone us for confirmation of the correct part before you order, as once an order is processed and delivered to you, we are unable to receive this back for refund. Your order with us is a request issuing us with a request for the said item/s and any wrong item or change of heart will not result in a refund from ourselves. Please note: We cannot accept any part back that has been fitted.
In the highly unlikely event of us sending you the wrong part that is (not the part you have ordered) please return it to us in perfect, re-saleable condition (including product packaging, instructions, etc). You must not write anything on the item, its packaging or instructions. Please note that we will refund the cost of postage (that has been agreed with us) to you.
Goods returned because they are faulty or defective must be returned in the condition you received them. We will test/examine the part/s, and if found to be faulty, we will post out to you the correct part/s of your order. If this is not acceptable to you and you wish a refund, we will pay the cost of returning the item(s) to us. Please also ensure that you obtain proof of postage in case your item gets lost in the post.
Liability As noted in the paragraphs above, we shall not be liable for incidental or consequential damages or expenses as a result of any transaction you have made with us. This includes, but is not limited to, damage to property, lost income, profits, economic or commercial losses and third parties claims.
Though we endeavour to be sure that all of our orders are despatched the same day of order, we have no liability to you for any delay in the delivery of products ordered. You have the right to cancel delayed orders at any time and get a refund prior to the item being despatched. This warranty does not affect your statutory rights.
